Viewsat UltraLite was developed to meet the demand for a lower priced but yet powerful receiver, with features such as USB host support, firmware blind scanning, support for C/Ku-bands and various LNB polarities, USALS controls, and many more.
The UltraLite is similar to the Viewsat Platinum Lite. However, it is more compact and supports software upgrades via a USB port. UltraLite is ideal for dorms or bedrooms that are not connected to elaborate home theater systems. It can be connected to a television through the S-video, composite outputs or RF modulated coax. It comes with a simple easy-to-use universal remote control and it is just as user friendly as all other Viewsat receivers.
